JPM?

Is this a JPM? Looks almost authentic but there's some things on it that JPM's don't have. Like the fact that it doesn't have Fender style knobs or it doesn't have the usual JPM 3-way switch. Also the finish isn't the same as the JPM90th flame. Is it just a cheap copy or what?

Re: JPM?

It is not original for sure.
A cool copy maybe, but that`s all.

Re: JPM?

Yeah, that's what I figured. I'm going to go check it out anyway because the finish is pretty cool still.

Re: JPM?

It's a copy: notice the Prestige headstock.

However, if it really is a Prestige, it's a cool copy!
Let the seller know you noticed it is not an original JPM90HAM and try to buy it a bit cheaper!

Cool Re: JPM?

It definitely is a custom not an Ibanez original JPM series! it's nice though and it seems to have all the right parts.

Re: JPM?

Looks pretty authentic "Ibanez-non-JPM" to me!!!
Like elcid said, looks like a RG3120 with the Picasso graphics.

Oh, no ebony board too. That one looks like rosewood.

Nevertheless, being a RG3120, it's a great axe!
IMHO, I like it best than the JPM.

Re: JPM?

Well, if he tried to sell it to you as a JPM, then you need to rethink before sending money.

If it is a local pickup, then its OK.

If you have to send money then think about the fact that he just tried to sell you a RG Prestige as a JPM.

You may think you are still ending with a cool guitar, but if he is crooked enough to mislead you initially, then how can you trust him to ship it too you.

Re: JPM?

Oh, don't worry guys. I know what I'm doing. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't a JPM I wasn't aware of.
