Just played my first Parker . . .

Hey all - I was at the local guitar shop today - and figured I'd try out a litle Marshall handwired 20W head - I grabbed the closest axe - a Parker - Nitefly classic in natural mahogany

http://www.parkerguitars.com/Nitefly-Guitar-Models/

Holy hell it is one serious axe!! I couldn't believe how great it felt - very reasonable weight, comfy playing sitting down, the neck was INCREDIBLE!! I think the stainless steel frets were part of the reason I liked it so much. The piezo pickups sounded good - the guy working there came over to see who plugged an acoustic into their $2000 Marshall head. Anyway - if I had $2000 I'd go back and buy the guitar today - it was that good.

Re: Just played my first Parker . . .

I use to think they were so ugly but they grew on me, plus I can't talk about ugly since I own 2 texture Ibz and many hate them hahaha

I haven't been able to play the top of the line parkers yet but I hope to soon

Well, the Vernon Reid model has a Floyd on it, but I do like the Belew model. I'm curious about the standard Fly bridge - Reeves Gabrels used to dish out some serious punishment on his so they must hold tune better than your average vintage Strat bridge.

Re: Just played my first Parker . . .

Guys there is no question here. The bridge found on the Nitefly and the Fly Mojos, classics, belew etc are awesome. I prefere them to the edge or any other trem system out there. But dont take my word for it....go and try one for yourselves.
