K-7 U-Bar - Kinda neat...

I was thinking about the U-Bar:

1) *Can it switch between the U-Bar and the standard arm?

2) *I found this on Ebay, seems interesting:

Yes, the bar can be removed for use of a standard trem bar. (I read it somewhere....)

Just out of curiosity, since there's two holes to accomodate the U-Bar, can you put the arm in either one?

Or you could even use two whammy bars. You might want a second pair of posts and a second pair of knife edges then as well. Take a saw and cut the Lo-Pro-7 in whatever configuration you want 3/4 4/3 2/5 5/2 *lol*.

(Inspired by this weirdo double-whammy JEM that Steve Vai has pictured somewhere on his homepage)

Yeah, I saw that split Edge. *Maybe taking the "Double" Edge thing too seriously? lol j/k *The link's for a cool floating trem mod I found. *It's a bar that comes out the back of the guitar and works on Fender Strat's and Floyd's among others, so you can use the trem without having to use your hands. *

I dont know about you guys but that trem would never work for me. I would be bending things out of tune all day. I tend to keep the guitar as tight to my body as I'm moving around on stage. Not good when youve got that thing between you, and your guitar.

Id be interested in knowing how it works if any of you get one though.
