Kiko10P-TGT Officially out this week

http://www.ikebe-gakki.com/ec/pro/disp/1/391904

He's using a custom shop green one on stage, yet we get a premium? ugh...

Oh and I have to complain about one more thing: The gig bag.

Okay, for a premium I understand that's a decent bag... But my Roadcore came with the EXACT SAME BAG. the gig bag with my roadcore isn't any different than the premium one? Bah.

Nice looking axe! Signature pickups too? Wonder what they are...

they are really nice sounding. I almost bought the Kiko100 MIJ version instead of my Carvin. It's an AMAZING guitar, but the premium doesn't have the scalloped frets that the MIJ has. It also has a coil tap, and the sound is just bloody amazing.

I guess one could merely get the scalloping done after market, but it IS crap that they don't release prestige models of all the signature guitars. Like, we want what they are playing, not just to look like we are eh?

I like the idea of cheaper signature models. ESP does it but rarely do any artists ever use the cheaper ones. Tom Araya of Slayer uses his LTD signature so people feel like they are using what he uses on stage (good for his fans). However, Steve Vai never uses the premiums, and I know PG's new PGM and FRMs are custom shop models, not the MIC or MII models that are mass produced.

I hear the guy is now in Megadeth, it would be cool if Dave switched to Ibanez too.

Yeah, and he's going to continue his work with Angra too... Crazy. Kiko is an AMAZING guitarist, and his Prestige signature is so awesome. The premiums meh.

I completely agree that cheaper signature models are a great idea. For the budding guitarist (who is financially strapped) who would like to feel like a badass and be inspired by the instrument that they play it's an awesome idea.

It's only when they JUST release a 'premium' model so a more well to do player who CAN afford the 'better' instrument only has one option. I personally think the lower budget models are fantastic because you can feel more ok with futzing with them, like scalloping a fretboard, swapping pickups etc.
Does that make sense? I don't know if I conveyed what i wanted to say very well haha

There is, but it's red, and the custom shop model he uses on stage is green (like the premium).

This guitar is really awesome, but I still expect him to have a 27 frets guitar again, as his old signature model (Tagima K1).
