They were interviewed in TG (total guitar) a while back. They said that before the K7 (and even now still) they tried lots of wierd combinations for body woods. They tried all sorts of african mahogany, basswoods etc.
Then they tried all sorts of finishes too like natural, laquered etc. They must have a shed-load of guitars, I bet Ibanez were a little bit sick of making stuff for em. But I guess thats what an endorsement is for!

And I dont mind Korn at all. However I HATE their lead singer. I think he looks, sounds and acts like a twat! Dont like his voice at all. The thing I hate most is that little "Funky" section thing he does in the middle of Freak on a Leash when the guitars and stuff stops. Arggghh!

Well I hate them enough for everyone in this entire forum

Well, Two Hands and I probably love them enough to be a two man Korn fan club, but that was still a funny line!

Of course, now I must kill you.

Cheers for the info guys, I found it usefull.

I think a blaze neck in my 1527 should do the job, also for future reference, for all those who want to complain about korn, why not create an "anti-Korn" forum, rather than wasting everyones time by complaining in every forum with the word korn in the title...

once again, cheers everyone else

The same reason that you don't create (or go to, as I'm sure there's one already) a Korn forum and ask all your questions over there. Namely, convenience.

not to mention they used the neck blaze in the bridge position for tighter bass definition. send that out to a triple rec and you have that sound covered except for the recording, your probly hearing 4 or 5 guitars, not 2, which is why its sounds so huge.

Nah, I'm pretty sure Korn's sound is two guitars, they just usually use a combination of amps and/or cabinets, and the fact that they use very different tones. Munky's got more treble and clarity to his tone and Head's tone is more bassy (though could be the other way around I really can't remember ).
