The Kramer Baretta

I am currently in the market for a Kramer Baretta and I personally don't know a lot about the guitar. Is the guitar worthy and if so what is the best Baretta model?

It's said that the earlier the better... In the Kramer case, I actually think the US made ones are better than those made elsewhere. Banana headstock, evensize logo are some things to go by. Check out www.kramermaniaxe.com for further details. It says something about age and what prices you can expect.

I love Kramers! Be o the look out for non-"droopy" heaadstocks they are usually the ones people go for.

A friend of mine has one, an '87. Pretty nice neck and great OFR. He swapped the original JB for an EMG85. It smokes pretty good now...
