Late 80s/early 90s RG-models with a maple fretboard?

I'm looking for an older RG with a maple fretboard, preferably from the late 80s/early 90s with the old 4-bolt neck joint. Is there a list somewhere that would tell me all the specific models that from that era that come with a maple board?

I only know the RG770DX and RG565. Both these models seem to be quite rare nowadays

Thanks!

I have a collection of these types of Ibbys, mostly 1987-1990 Rg 550/ 560/ and 570 ..

I played the 1989 rg570 first time back on stage...in this video, felt amazing.

I think they were the best years for these. The RE dont feel the same, or sound the same.
I think the 560 is the most overlooked model the Single coil in the neck is amazing.

Close! But the best years for these went beyond 1990. In fact, the later ones with the LoPro Edge were even better.
I do agree with you about the 560 being overlooked. Great guitar, and if the owner ever wants a humbucker in the neck--a mini-humbucker will do the trick.

I got mine off a RG450. I love it. Had to buy the whole guitar to get it but the price was right and I made some of the $ back selling the body

Kind of on topic, but It occurs to me that I don't think I've ever seen an RG570 with a maple fretboard. Odd.

The maple necks tend to get a little bit more money and are harder to get. It took me years to get the right one.

They're out there--just limited.
I just saw one again last month. They do look nice.
