Ditto, neck-thru S. Wow.

Now if they would just do an S with direct-mount pickups...

Re: Latest S Series J Customs at Ikebe

I do like the FMTT, but I will never part from my s540fmtt and this is too similar to own as well.

The CRS is just another reissue of the s9870. Nice, but I'd rather own the original.

I'm glad they're making S-JC's again.

What? The dot markers in those pictures are clearly abalone.

Do you mean the binding?

Re: Latest S Series J Customs at Ikebe

Those are beautiful!!! I doubt they'd use ivory as in elephant tusk. I would hope not as a global company. Trade in elephant ivory that isn't pre-CITES (earlier than 1973) is illegal and I'd doubt Ibanez would sell products with elephant ivory for those reasons.

Re: Latest S Series J Customs at Ikebe

That first one is killer! Both second one ain't too bad either. Would be great as an RG - I've never been too comfortable with the S body, but it is still serious eye candy!!!!

Re: Latest S Series J Customs at Ikebe

Why does Ibanez not take the recipe from the first S and make into into a prestige and smash all previous sales records for the variation?

You mean the HSS version with the three switches, or just an HSS version in general?

I do wonder why HSS guitars aren't popular any longer?
