Legality of using ibanez stuff?

I have a red telecaster body (not a real tele, a cheap copy, but a nice one at that) that ive mounted a Wizard neck on, from a retired (dismantled) RG170DX...

would this in ANY ways be wrong? say if i were in a huge popular band and used nothing but that guitar, could it become a legal issue? or does it have nothing to say?

AND if it is/would be a legal issue, would it work if i removed the logo and possibly altered the shape of the tip, so it didnt look like a Wizard?

OR would ibanez just be happy that i, instead of throwing it away, used the neck from the broken guitar to replace a crap one to enhance a guitar?

for those who wonder, the guitar has a CRAP neck pickup, and no bridge pickup, and isnt being used... im going to get pups for it in the future though.

I highly doubt it's a problem because it's for personal, not commercial use.

And on top of that you aren't replicating anything, it's a true Ibanez neck!

Might be a problem if you had an Ibanez endorsement deal, apart from that you are free to play whatever you want.

I dunno, its pretty original having a Wizard neck on a tele style body, would make an original Ibanez sig!

It's fine. just don't manufacture and sell them. Then you'll have Fender and Ibanez on your butt.
