The volume knob on my RG4EXFM1 is loose and I can't seem to tighten it...now your probably wondering "why didn't you look it up" and in face I did the whole afternoon. The only results I've found are based on plastic knobs like strats have where you just pull them off and tighten the bolt, but I have chrome knobs on my guitar like most RG's, but I don't see anyway of taking them off and I tried pulling it a bit, but they don't budge...

Any Ideas?

undo the screw that hold the knob on, then tighten the washer, put the knob back on and tighten the screw.

and it's like that all the way around...i know some knobs have screws on them like these:

but mine don't, so I'm trying to figure out how I could remove them to tighthen the screw under it.

You should be able to just pull them off, but if you can't put a soft cloth on your guitar around the knob and use a flat head screwdriver to pop it off. They do come off with a bit of leverage/

Once you get the knob off if there is no way of tightening anything you could try Thread Lock or Nut Lock. I had a loose nut on my Gotoh bridge which kept coming loose through vibration and it was driving me mad, I spoke to Suhr and they said put a couple of drops of Thread Lock on it. I bought "nut lock" from my local hardware store which said it was for automotive use and it did the job perfectly, and its not like glue you can still remove the nut by hand when you need to.

seriously though, they do pull off, you just gotta pull harder.
