Lowering humbuckers on a 1570?

I have an original Evo in my neck, and i've noticed that with my low action, I hit the pickup a lot with my pick. It seems like only the single coil on it is adjustable, but I may be wrong. Anyone wanna shed some light on the topic?

Re: Lowering humbuckers on a 1570?

It could be your technique(hold you hold the pick). If not, check the tech setup section on adjusting the pickup height.

no, definately not my technique. The pickup is about .5 mm lower than the rosewood. That's a bit to high in my opinion.

There should be two screws on either side of the humbucker, just tighten them. Try to pick closer to the bridge.
