Making a Flame Guitar....need some help!!!
Well here is the deal....my dad works at a packaging company has a **** load of these really "rad" machines that can take an image from the computer and cut it out (wood, cardboard, etc....). I got a pic off of this site and sent it too my dad....and he cut it out on cardboard....and it's not the right size. For you who dont know wut im talkin about......im talkin about Steve Vai's famous Performance 'Flame' guitar he uses on the David Lee Roth "Goin' Crazy" video. I need some measurements on this bad boy before i send the wood and plans to California for them to cut it. Anyone know anything about these or own one and can help me out please do!!! Thanx!

just take what you have and scale it up, How are you going to measure a flame ??

Ummmmm....with a ruler....

yeah cnc routers. use cad and cut it out. not very artistic though.

Go and give Rikk a PM. He has one of those Flame guitars. They are pretty cool. I am sure he would be happy to tell you the size of the body.
