Re: Midi rg

Pure piezo, nice. You know tho you can use the edge trems and have piezo, edge pro is a quick retrofit and the others need some changes that make the mod on the lopro and edge more expensive.

I don't belive that midi sadels will work with an edge.
this brigde performs as good as my edge in any case.

check out http://www.shotgunnmods.net/shotgunn...t/Welcome.html

Great stuff but the original edge with piezo requires some work that adds $$$$

Re: Midi rg

Nice work. I've been planning something similar for a while.
Were you having bad tracking problems previous to removing the pickups?

the tracking was pretty good at the outset but sustain wasn't good enough and the hold pedal application didn't really provide the results I wanted.
I have been pursuing a truly synthesized lead guitar application, not the typical midi stuff you see demonstrated in the video’s so keeping the pickups was a compromise that wasn’t paying off.
