Mistery MIJ RG with 22 frets. Help me ID this!

Hello,
a friend of mine bought it and asked me some help identifying this.
i've tried searching for it in some old catalogs with no success.
I told him this isn't the Lo TRS trem.
Looks like a replaced bridge, then?
22 frets? no serial #?
The INF single cap would make more sense with INF humbuckers.
Anyway, asked for the neck and body stamps for more clarification.
He will take some more photos.
Any thoughts anyone?
Thanx in advance. Any help much appreciated.

It doesn't look original--probably a basket-case with an MIJ neckplate. The pickguard doesn't quite line up right on the lower horn--looks too pointy. It also doesn't curve enough at the upper neck pocker/horn area.

could be a late '80s MIK RG350 with some replaced parts (trem, neck-plate etc):

The pick ups area looks off too especially by the neck, like they are too wide?

Looks older to me, the pick guard could be a cosmetic flaw though or may be its a replacement?

BUT how much was paid? and does it play ok? Could be a really great playing sounding guitar reguardless of how its assembled lol!

hi, probably a bit late!! jja

i have the same guitar, my guitar has a serial number in a sticker and stars with letter P but in some pages like dateproyect the guitar is caltalogued as japanese made in terada.

the trem is chrome, probably yours was replaced.

The guitar is in the 1988 ibanez catalog. Model roadstar rg 350.

if you collect some more information about the guitar please coment it!
