MM jp6 vs Sterling by MM jp60

hi guys
i wish to buy MMjp6 but unfortunately is out of my funds.So start thinking about Sterling by Musicman JP60 and swap the humbuckers for proper Petrucci DiMarzio ste.qestion is how far is this guitar from real JP??

The sterling has a different build and finish quality overall, lower quality trem, obviously non-dimarzio pups (as you said), no stainless steel frets, 16" radius only on sterlings and over the range of different EBMM JP's there are many more wood, radius and color options and sometimes even rosewood neck options.
