I got this RG4EXFM1 at a local store a while ago because of the finish and the neck. of course, while trying it out, they didnt have any amplifiers close to what I play on. I figured that I may as well take it now, and if I like it, I like it, and if I don't, then I modify it. I've been holding off on changing it for a while now, and now i'm wondering why I haven't done this earlier.
The guitar to be customized
Painted Switch tip and pickup rings
Lacquered, and with screws.
The box that my stuff came in. a Dimarzio DP227 Liquifire and DP184 Chopper, a Dimarzio ClipLock strap, a Shadow Electronics Killpot, and some Dava picks.
With the new strap.
New pictures as soon as i'm done installing all of this stuff.
I just love to see folks step up and customize their axes! It's a great way to add your personality to it while keeping the integrity of the guitar intact. Can't wait to see the finished product.
Great. When the Chopper was installed, I found out 2 things:
1. there's a large crack running down the side
2. it's only going at 50% output
So I called Musician's Friend, and it turns out that the pickups are on back order until late september. I checked some other websites, and it's the same for all of them. My pickup isnt available in green AT ALL until next month.
TBH, i actually kinda like the INF4. just gonna wait until i find something that i know is gonna be better.
