Musicman

Hey guys. I just wanted to know how well the trem stays in tune on the Musicman Petrucci JP6.
I've heard many great things about these guitars and am considering buying one. Problem is there isn't one in any shop remotely near where I live so I wanted to ask for anyone's opinion on it.
Any info would be much appreciated.
Cheers.

Re: Musicman

Trem is awesome. I mean, if you REALLY mess with it, it will go out of tune, but this can do divebombs and still stay in tune.

Re: Musicman

The trem on the JP is great. No issues with tuning going out, and it is a really great guitar.

Re: Musicman

Thanks alot guys.
Big help.
I won't overuse the trem anyway. Just the occassional wobble or divebomb:P

Re: Musicman

Best trem I've ever used, but watch out for the
graphite nut on the guitar. It sucks ass and will
eventually wear when you bend the strings down
by the 2nd and 3rd fret. Mine wore out after less
than a month, so I had it replaced with a bone nut
instead. Just a word of caution, but hopefully your
s won't do as mine. The only problem with the trem
from my perspective is that you can't really raise
it much more than one note, unlike and lo-pro.
Enjoy the guitar and make sure you get the piezo
option. It makes the guitar what it is in my opinion.
