Thought i would share my 2 vintage babies that i love so much! They both see regular play and perform incredible even after all these years.

Whats with the wacky intonation? Looks like some of your wound strings are way overcompensated.

Lol, ya know i have wondered that myself but i"ve never done anything to the intonation and this is how both of these guitars have been since ive had them. Ive owned the white/blue one for 17 years now and the red one for about 7 years. Good eye, however they play great :-)

I love my Roadstar too! I have a white '85 RS400, which has a carved top and wasn't a U.S. model. I got it for $200 from a music store. Easily the most guitar for the least money I have ever spent. I actually like the Pro Rock'r trem, you can adjust individual string height with it. Hopefully none of the parts break though...

I wish Ibanez would bring back the body shape of these, I love the shape of the horns.

Those are awesome looking guitars up there, love that watermelon.

Re: My 2 1986 Ibanez Roadstar ll RG530s

I have another also! Well sort of LOL. Its an 85 Ibanez Roadstar ll RS530 body. Just the body. Its stripped to the wood and all sanded (with binding still intact!). Its been professionally routed for an AANJ neck - so i bought a 2003 Ibanez RG320 neck (nice!!) and it bolted right on. I then had to find a Pro Rocker R Trem - found it for a little over $200.00 complete and in great condition (thank you Mr. Ibanez). Its a project Ibanez so all different parts are going on it. Heres a little sneak peak...

Re: My 2 1986 Ibanez Roadstar ll RG530s

(i think it looks fairly green also) fade is different?! can you please give me some info on it it seems as if you love them and therefore would know a great deal about them. I got it for my 19th bday/ moving out gift 3 years ago. I am smitten to acoustics so I am lost on most that is electric, but I have found myselt to me be fond of this roadstar II, interested also.. Please help end this impossible excapade
