Re: My 7's

those do have a tendency to get a decent amount of attention from guitar geeks. the PGM is an RG7321 with a pair of white dimarzios: blaze and blaze custom. the JPM is an RG7620 with an air norton and blaze custom. both graphics are actually decals from universal jems. i missed my pgm500 after i sold it and the RG7321 was a perfect candidate. since ibanez never had a JPM7 and since JP was one of the main reasons why i first bought a 7, it got the JPM100P1 treatment.

Re: My 7's

Of all of them, I actually like seeing the AX7521 the most. Guess I've just seen and owned too make RG7's!

Those things are seriously sweet! Most under-rated Ibanez 7 string ever made. Everyone thinks they're crap because of the chrome hardware, non-matching headstock and it's cousin, the AX7221. But it really is just a 22 fret RG7621 with more knobs and a different body/neck shape.

it's funny, as the ax7521 is my best sounding out of all my 7's. it is what i track my rhythm tracks with and it is spectacular. currently it has a UV blaze bridge pickup in the neck and a blaze custom in the bridge. also sports a JPM 3 way and a push pull for the neck pickup.

that's a chris woods body on what was a VK 7620. that guitar was hell to get made as i paid a ton of money to get a body from EKG initially. after 8 months of waiting for a quoted 1 month of work, got my money back. turned right around and got the same runaround from CW for 3 months. luckily, it manifested and i finished it out. too bad that i got it done before CW had his CNC, because this was when he had custom cover plates and such; and i wanted pretty much a factory body, just out of mahogany. about a year or 2 later, i got my ash jem body from him and it was a VERY enjoyable experience(though costly), but my buddy who ordered a destroyer body had a similar experience as my first time and his body had filler and was chipped in areas. CW promised to make him another, but has never made good on that promise after almost 5 years.

the mahogany one and rg7ct have air norton and tone zone. also, all of my RG, S, and R models have dimarzio cliplocks. the paint on the 7s hate the clip...especially the factory paint.
