My American and Japanese Fenderīs

Even though iīm a huge Ibanez fan i own two Fenders. Iīm planing to buy an Ibanez soon but i canīt decide bettween a 6 or 7 string model. Details:

2006 Fender American Standard Stratocater with Seymoyr Duncan Jb Jr, Vintage Rails and Little 59.
1991 Fender Super strat Style guitar made in Japan.I donīt have any idea of witch model but the guitar sounds good, enough for me. Floyd Rose II, Dimarzio Tone Zone, Fast track and Humbucker from Hell. Dimarzio Hardware, Gotoh Turners

The white one is a Fender Heartfield. I can't say which year it is from, but the logo on the headstock is most often Heartfield. Since yours say Fender it might be an early model, I don't know. Intereting for you: The Fender Heartfield is essentially an Ibanez. Built in the same factory, and they look pretty similar too (RG550 with rosewood fretboard).

Re: My American and Japanese Fenderīs

This is a closer shot to the headstock. I was told it was a Fender Talon or Hertfield before but iīve no idea which model

Itīs true the neck is really thin and it feels like an Ibanez RG 570 but the EDGE tremolo makes a huge difference if you compare it with the Floyd Rose II. I bealive itīs made of Basswood...

Re: My American and Japanese Fenderīs

Man I love Japanese Fenders. If I could afford it I'd have a shed load of them. I got an 88-89 Jap Fender Strat, Sounds bitching, Its got hotter pickups or something. Also got a Mex 70s Classic, Sounds how a strat should.

Re: My American and Japanese Fenderīs

The Japanese Fenders sounds great to me. Yours looks like a Standard Ttratocaster, am i right?. My sister is in New Zealand and she is visiting Japan, she promised she is going to bring me a guitar!!!. I asked her to choose between an ESP and IBANEZ but i was clear and told her, if you see this guitar( i showed her a picture of Richieīs Kotzen Tele) buy it no matter how expensive it iīll pay it :

Re: My American and Japanese Fenderīs

Hahaha I'd have a list of tried and tested that I wanted. Japanese have a brilliant selection of guitars. I really fancy a Fujigen... There the guys that do Ibanez Prestige stuff and used to make Jap Fenders.

Yes I believe it is a standard. I did look it up and it is what it is. Only thing not original is the pickguard and the wiring. I bought it used and it had a a chequer plate pickguard, Then the pots eventually starting crackling like mad, So I redone the whole wiring, new pots and switches.
