my Bad Horsie JPM

Here it is.

I sanded down the front and oiled it. Then it got an wax finish and i gave it a JS-Switching. Scalloped the last three frets and installed some crome knobs.

You'll probably get some who disagree, but I like it. The rough-looking wood gives it a unique look.

wow, i really really like it, dunno if it was worth killing the JPM finish, but i like how it came out

so, you left the side and back original black? what was it a P4 or what? i cant quite see if the headstock is glossy or not...

Yeah, the rest is black. I bought the guitar with a over and over cracked finish and without electronics for 300 € ....there was much to do on it but it ROCKS now!!!

but then again, i would love a jpm if it were covered in fertilizer and was played by pee-wee....
