Re: My Horror Movie Guitars

Cool axes. Love the reverse avenger body way more than the standard avenger body...

Nice to see another Schecter Fan. I have three Schecter USA guitars and consider them to be tops of anything I've owned or played in terms of quality, vibe, and tone. And all three are one-of-a-kind (and all three are 7-strings). I've always felt Schecter doesn't get the noteriety it deserves, perhaps because the bulk of their guitars sold are the import diamond series.

Hey... Schecter USA is definetly one of the "Best kept secrets." All of their USA guitars are HandMade by Tetsu, Master Luthier.. No CNC cookie cutter guitars going on there. Both my guitars were NAMM show guitars. Both airbrushed by Chris Compston.. Inlays by Ron Thorn.. Post some pics of your Schecters!

Re: My Horror Movie Guitars

Here's pics of two of my three Schecter USA S-7's:

http://www.lintzland.com/music/Schecter/reds7.JPG
http://www.lintzland.com/music/Schecter/lacewoods7.JPG

The red one has a very light-weight ash body, maple neck/board, and white Dimarzio blazes wired with a 5 way and push-pull tone knob to split the humbuckers.

The sunburst is quite unique it has a lacewood top over a much denser, heavier ash body, a maple neck, a pao ferro fingerboard, and Schecter (Tom Anderson) monster tone pups with a five way and a push-pull tone know to split the humbuckers.

Both very well made guitars with great tone and looks. Can't beat the deal I got on them either.

Re: My Horror Movie Guitars

I've seen similar guitars with both finishes...you didn't happen to get them from Jason at Drum City/Guitarland did ya?

VERY cool! Now all ya need is the Hellraiser graphic from a few years back!
