Hello, I can't post any new pictures now, I'm abroad working, I'll post a picture of the headstock when I'm back.

About the color, it does NOT look purple.

I thought the 8670 had the thinner neck, not the 8470?

If the 8470 is thinner (ie 17mm Wizard) I would have got one!

The neck of the 8470 is a Super Wizard, 17mm(1F), 19mm(12F),
8670 neck is 17mm(1F), 20mm(12F).
So there is not to much difference between these.

Re: My Ibanez J.Custom RG8470F-BX arrived today, pics inside!

Ok, Rich. Then they have wrong info of the 8470F at Ibanez jp.

Scale 648mm/ 25.5"
a : Width at Nut 43mm
b : Width at Last Fret 58mm
c: Thickness at 1st 17mm
d : Thickness at 12th 19mm
Radius 430mmR

Edit: Just read about the 8470A, that one have 18-20, so it seems that the F model is 17-19.

Question Re: My Ibanez J.Custom RG8470F-BX arrived today, pics inside!

So the Ibanez Japan website is pretty much the main way to purchase one of these J. Customs right? (Besides getting it used somewhere else).
