ox·y·mo·ron [ òksee máw ròn ] (plural ox·y·mo·ra [ òksee máwrə ] or ox·y·mo·rons)
expression with contradictory words: a phrase in which two words of contradictory meaning are used together for special effect, e.g. "wise fool" or "legal murder"
[Mid-17th century. < Greek oxumōron, form of oxumōros< oxus "sharp" + mōros "foolish"]
mo·ron [ máw ròn ] (plural mo·rons)
1. an offensive term that deliberately insults somebody's intelligence ( insult )
2. offensive term: a former term for somebody with significant learning difficulties and impaired social skills, now considered offensive ( dated offensive )
[Early 20th century. < Greek mōron "unintelligent, thoughtless"]
I can understand your first comment about an oxymoron...but the part about "just a moron" makes no sense...unless you were attempting to be offensive and start a conflict...which...after viewing a bit of your history of responses/comments...it would appear that you seem to enjoy that sort of thing. "Bait" not taken...'nuff said.
