Beautiful guitar.

To answer your question.... I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that Ibanez stopped installing the 'name brand' DiMarzios in 2003. I know that in 2003, they were installing all the RG3120's with Tone Zone/ PAF pro's, but when the RG3120 came back in 2005, they were installed with DiMarzio/ IBZ pickups.

Judging from my experience, I would expect the weight of the guitar plus case plus bubblewrap plus shipping carton to be around 10kg.

Re: My New Prestige RG3270M-TB turned up this morning! :)

Edit: I'm surfing over to that shop in the UK again... damn it, why do I have to hunt half of the world to find an Ibanez guitar that I like and would be prepared to afford? Grmpf...

The more I think about this, the less inclined I am to actually give money to a company which seems to actively try to keep me from buying it's products. Like, Porsche had great cars like the 911 or the Boxster, but you actually only can buy Cayennes (either in black, bright green or racing yellow, that is), and all other models were only available from a dealer in Tibet, and only every second month on thursdays if it isn't a leap year. You can see I'm getting a bit worked up about this...

Well, maybe if I'm lucky and the moon phase is right when this guitar will be available at the end of the summer, I'll be able to get on of these, I love the looks of that guitar:

And believe it or not, the thing is actually planned to be sold in Germany!
