My New RG570s

Would like to share my 2 new RG570 which I sent for repainting (At an Automobile shop)

This is build with the theme of FFVI in mind, and kinda inspired by Emppu's guitar from Nightwish. Had the J Custom headstock done up because I didn't know the Normal Ibby decal is the same price. Pickups has been replaced to Dimarzio breeds with Evo Single.

This was a Gold RG 570 which I had it repainted into Metallic pearl blue. One of my best playing Ibby ever. Bridge has been replaced with Gotoh. Pickups has been replaced to Dimarzio Gravity Storm with Evo Single.

Re: My New RG570s

Cool guitars! What's the color of the top one? It looks like a flat white.
I've always thought of repainting my grey nickel '01 RG570 with that pimpin' blue purple you see on some custom cars.
Great stuff!

Wooo, you like Nightwish too? I saw Emppu's Signature ESP in Tokyo once, overpriced but that purple is really good looking. Happy NGD

I saw it there too. I was disappointed because it didnt look like it was worth the price they were asking for it. OTOH, I saw an RG3250MZ FOB used for like 80000 yen... I wish I had gotten it, such a gorgeous guitar.

I try and get my used guitar from Ishibashi. The ones from Shimokura are actually more expensive...

The only place I've bought used guitars from is Komehyou, and that's here in nagoya (they have a store in Shinjuku but I've never been there). They aren't exactly the most helpful with setups and such on the guitars (I basically had to revive my 550 on my own) but they aren't that expensive.

Because he likes a different bridge more maybe? The only way I'd replace an OE is if it was with a lo-pro but I like the OE more.

This is because Gotoh are easier to get and it is cheaper here. The Ibanez are parts RG, not brand new.

I need to look for Kameyou in Shinjuku. Do you know which part it is?

Nope, Dont know where Komehyou is in Shinjuku. I try to avoid those places when I go to Tokyo because I hate the place. I can deal with it for like a day then I lose my mind.
