My New RGA 121H CDO (Crashed Deep Ocean)

Hi Folks,

I got in my new RGA 121H CDO tonight, my first Prestige. The color is new to the Canadian market (I live in Toronto); originally I was looking for a Violin Flat finish, but the new color (Crashed Deep Ocean) looks wicked on the RGA. One question, how do I post pics on this site? The posting rules (under my I.D.) says I can't post attachments. Does that have anything to do with it? Thanks.

Cheers

You need to upload your images to a photo hosting service like Photoibucket, then copy and paste the URL tag (the bottom of the three tags that appears under each image), and the pics will appear as if by magic on Jemsite!

Re: My New RGA 121H CDO (Crashed Deep Ocean)

I forgot to add a few comments to my pictures above. The RG 320FM has a Dimarzio Super Distortion in the Bridge, and a PAF-Pro in the Neck. The Dean has stock pickups (close to a PAF-Pro in output, but not as clear).

I plan on 'living' with the V8 and V7 pickups in my new RGA for a while. Since my RG 320FM has the full-on metal pickup in the bridge, I will most likely pick something a bit tamer and more articulate (e.g. hard rock as oppose to metal) for the RGA later on. I keep hearing that Breeds are perfect for that.
Time to enjoy my honeymoon period with my first Prestige.

Cheers.

OK, black and disco colours that look black in most lighting situations only.

Yeah, yeah. I haven't had the chance to take daylight pictures of it yet since only got it tonight. I'll try to take better photos tomorrow in the daylight. These night-time pictures don't even begin to do the guitar justice.

Cheers

ah, I wasn't trying to badmouth it or anything. I just don't really like blue, and it seems like they have sooo many sparkly guitars and blue guitars...

I don't even like the blue flamed top rga321, but a lot of people do, so.. *shrug*

I dig more natural colors myself. reds, tans, browns, bursts, etc.... although I do like green too... I wanna see an emerald green RGA.

how much did you pay? I'm shopping around for a good deal right now, heh. might order from store the other thread is about, but not sure if I'd get hit with customs tax fees or not...

I'm sorry if you took offense. It's a nice looking guitar, actually. Enjoy!
