My Project Prestiege Model

I'm currently refinishing a RG1570. I'm painting it vintage white with matching headstock. I'm putting a HH configured pickguard on it in the 3-ply vintage mint-black-mint color.(Like Malmsteen's strat, looks more cream color than mint). I'm putting a breed in the bridge and a Paf Joe in the neck. Will be for playing a wide range of music from progressive rock, instrumental, to metal.

Pickup's, knobs, headstock logo will be black. White didn't look right with the cosmo black hardware, and I can't afford new hardware. The picture is close to what I want but I can't do the logo or the exact pickguard.

I also considered Surf-green or yellow. What do you like better:
white with pearl pickguard,
white with mint pickguard,
surf green

Any other suggestions?

White with mint pickguard. I would normally pick green but I don't like the shade of it on this guitar, though it might look good with a black pickguard.

And dude, PLEASE don't put the tone knob where you have it on the pic, it looks worse than any Chibanez I've ever seen.

Tone knob will be in standard position, just didn't get it right in the picture.

Re: My Project Prestiege Model

I have to be honest, man... I don't like the colors. They look too... what's the word... Fender. I've never liked the Surf Green. I saw a few Jackson's in that color with pearl pickguards, and they look too... pale, as if something was missing. White goes very good with cosmo black hardware (check the JEM333). I would choose a more LNG that surf green. Maybe a little lighter than LNG, but that kind of green. Otherwise, looks lifeless to me. Like the breed-Paf Joe pickup set. I would go for a Evo or Evo2 in the bridge position and PAF Joe, though. But that's me, you know? Follow your instincts, man. Hope you end up with a kick-ass guitar!
