My stunning RR400 (Pics)

As promised, some pics of my new old '82 RR400. Its is the most beautiful guitar I have ever played. So warm and blusey, it actually feels like a Gibson Les Paul to me, only obviously in Vee form. The neck is set and REALLY thick, but it just adds to the lush tones it sings.

All Original, the Super 58 pup is Just friggn awsome:

Im taking it to the grave! (hopefully not for another 80 years though) :OD

Hooked into my new Keeley TS9 Flexi I couldnt be happier with my new kit, and I can say that I finally found the sound ive been looking for.

Wow man, I super Jealous! I've always wanted one! So comparatively does it feel like a Les Paul and if so, a 50's or 60's neck?

Probably a 60's neck. I epected it to sound "metal" but was delighted to find out it sounds 'bluesy'. I would say it feels and looks like a les paul because of the set neck, the neck profile, the finish and the humbuckers which I belive must be similair to Gibsons own at that time. Honestly, plug one of these puppys into a modded tubescreamer and you go hours of fun :O)

Ive probably wanted an RR400 for about 5 years now, not easy to find in good shape. The only one I seen on the bay this year looked like it had been thrown off a cliff :O(

Hi there,

The model I have, and the one Paul used (untill the fireman/401) was the PGM301. The one you see for sell isnt the same guitar, its the PGM300 Re-Issue. The PGM301 was discontinued a couple years ago, so you cannot buy it new anymore sadly. I bought mine new in 2008 just before it got stopped.

They released the 300RE because fans voted for it out of all the PGM's ever made, which seems a little nuts....
