NDYD- (New desert sun yellow day)

I picked this baby up today after a long journey from USA to Sweden, bought it from a very nice man who was the original owner since 1989.
A few chips and dings but other than that in good condition. No fretwear and not a single stain on the edge tremolo. I cleaned her up and put on some new strings and she rocked hard!!!!

A very big thanks to previous owner Truckwurk here at jemsite, this is truly an amazing forum.

Wow man.........The Holy Grail for guys like me!!!!!!!

I didn't think think the 765's ever made production so I know there aren't very many of them out there.....especially in DY.

Congrats my friend. If you ever decide to sell it, please PM me about it....ok?

Never seen an Ibanez with S/H configuration. How does the pickup selector switch work?

Also, awesome color.

Re: NDYD- (New desert sun yellow day)

Congrats! Glad to see someone here got it. He contacted me, but seemed a bit sketchy so I didn't pursue it. I can't believe Ibanez never produced that guitar. Someone on Craigslist in my area sold a fairly beat up one for $250 a while back. I was the second person to contact him so I didn't get it.

I've only played it for an hour yesterday but the pup-selector is a 3-way and It's humbucker in the bridge and then I think it's split humbucker-singlecoil in the middle and only single in the neck position.

I like that... what kind is it? Never seen one before. Wish Ibanez still made something like this.

It's a RG765 or RG656 prototype, some say there where only 40 made other say 20. It is a rare guitar for sure.
