need help id'ing a guitar

I was out looking for a washburn hollowbody guitar ( what's that snickering I hear...) cuz I needed one fast and cheap. I went to guitar center to find out their not a washburn dealer, but I found an old ibanez hollowbody for a used price at 549.99. it was red and thin, exactly like a gibson 335. two humbuckers, two f hole, you know the deal... So I left with this guitar as a contender. Tried a bunch of hollowbodies, all sounded like crap except for this ibanez from the 80's. Also when I looked at the other hollowbodies, they all had excess glue and broken wires, then I realized how stupid I was. I drove back to gc, but sold it! ARgh.

Anyway, I need help getting the model number. The seller told me it was from the 80's and that ibenez' s from the 80's rocked. I"m trying to find this guitar everywhere, but I need the model name or number. Thanks.

Probably an AS-80 or AS-100...definitely something from the Artstar line.

artstar

yup...either one. those new artcores are pretty cheap. the af style is in MF and is less than $500. like $300-400. sweet as hell. i want the AM style or "artist" style. finally a cool inexpensive jazzbox...especially from ibanez.
