Need help with my Penny - Jemsite

Need help with my RG550 New Penny

I have a 99 rg550 ltd ed new penny and I have no idea how to get new parts for it.most notably my floyd rose springs because my bridge has risen lots and trem arm socket is real loose

You don't need parts, you need to maintain. Tighten the arm holder and screw the claw springs all the way in until the bridge comes down.

Hi thanks for replying

They have about 2 - 3 mm left and is nit enough to get the bridge down now.
beccause I don't have the spec knowlege, type of floyd rose I dont know what to buy.

I have become a bit of a nerd for the knowledge as well so I still gotta find out the spec

Spin each tuner a full turn then tune it again.
Keep doing this until the trem is at the correct angle again.

You don't need "special" springs if they are gone. Go to your local music store and just get some new tremolo springs. They aren't Ibanez specific.

I think I just answered that. You can get ones with higher or lower tension. You pick what suits you.
