Question Need Help !!! Planning to Buy RG3770Z

Hi,

I am planning to buy the Ibanez RG3770Z , i love the specs on this guitar and the finish is obviously awesome.
I have one doubt regarding the finish though , is it solid and durable ? like it wont come off or chip off easily right?
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

well i dont hav any PERSONAL experience with that guitar. but it IS a prestige model, so quality is definitely there.

besides, unless youre throwing bolts and nails at it it should be okay.

Sadly, one of the first guitar lessons I took, my teacher took his pocket knife out and threw it at his guitar, sticking it in the body (Squire Strat). I never went back O.o

And yeah, Prestiges are awesome!

Re: Need Help !!! Planning to Buy RG3770Z

Hi , Thanks for the reply.
I am really confused between the rg3570z(LB) and the rg3770z(CAB) , both of them have the same specs and stunning looks( though i have only seen pics not the guitars for real :P ).
Could anyone please guide me ?

Thanks.
Cheers... \m/

Re: Need Help !!! Planning to Buy RG3770Z

If I were you I'd get a xx70 and not xx50 model. If you like to play with electronics and wiring it's a major pain to remove the pickguard to do a simple mod.

By the way, I've had a 2550 for over 3 years and still no dings or scratches. If you take care of it, no reason for finish to wear out. It's urethane and not nitro-cellulose that wears out easily.

Stunning indeed, but for that price it should come with a mahogany body IMO. Get the blue one!

Re: Need Help !!! Planning to Buy RG3770Z

oh right, I thought you said 3550
That's a lot of $$$ for what it is...As Melek Taus said, if it had at least something essentially better than sub 1k models it would be worth it, but like this...getting a rg1570 and upgrading pickups would cost much less and perform essentially the same.
