I always read this great forum but this is my really first tread.

So.... I have an Ibanez RG550EX GK with Lo Pro Edge from year 2000 and i love it.

i want now to upgrade it .i have Dimarzzio D Sonic in bridge and all other pickups are ibaenz original. So i want a PAF Pro on the neck.I tuned Full Step Down.
do Paf pro good in this tunning?
i want hot s.coil style sound with tones of bass but clear too so maybe you can give me advice for some other pickup.


other question is where can i buy parts online like electronics and i want split to s.coil too (like in JS series)
new pickguard and ALL new metal parts and electronics need to be all HIGH QUALITY
oh ..and if i can switch the trem system to Edge ?

The SEARCH feature is your best bet for all of your questions. All questions have been asked many times here.

With regards to pickups, it is always personal opinion with regards to what sounds good, and what doesnt. Check out the reviews section of Jemsite for pickup reviews. Have a read, see what you like the sound of.

As mentioned in many places on Jemsite, the Edge and LO Pro are interchangeable. If your guitar comes stock with LO Pro the trem cavity may or may not be shorter than the one that came stock with an Edge. Should fit fine though.
