Need help w/ RGPR1 identification/ specs! Texas GC Prestige

Hello All,
I need help with a guitar that I think is a RGPR1. It's a natural AAAA flametop w/ matching headstock and mahogany body, Prestige logo, white ivoroid binding on neck, headstock and body, gold satin finish hardware, 1999, Japan.
Is there any definative information on the web about these Texas RGPR models? catalog info? Books? This seems to be the only place !
Is there any writing or stamps inside the guitar cavities that indicate the model?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Rich,
I went ahead and bought it tonight. Guess where it was? Yes, at a GC. Turns out that the DFW Ibanez rep Max had gotten it back from a collector and brought it to the store where I saw it. He was in on the creation of this series of guitars. I got to talk to him directly through one of the salesmen who knew about these guitars. Max said that he went to Japan with the GC guys and they asked the custom shop to make up something wild just for the Texas Guitar Centers. The result was the RGPR1, 2, and 3 with only 6 of each model made not 12 as I hade previously been told. Now, I have two of the 18 made. I also have a RGPR2 which I traded for at the 2003' Ft.Worth Guitar Show.

I am going to get the full inside story from Max and Rob, the salesman, and will post it here in the near future. Rob thinks that he was the salesman who sold my RGPR2 to the original owner. I am going to give him the serial number so that he can verify it.

I'll try to get some pictures posted soon.

To all you Dallas- Ft.Worth Ibanez geeks, I would like to start an Ibanez collectors club/ swapmeet that meets bi-monthly or quarterly. I am also into vintage effects and pedals. Contact me if interested.

TL -

You just got the one that I needed to make the "trilogy" complete. I have the PR-3 and PR-2. I know one person who has a PR-1 and I tried to pry it away from him on a cash + trade deal last weekend while I was in NJ but no dice. I'm actually leaving for Houston today - maybe a trip to a local GC there could yield interesting results?!

Not sure about only 6 of each - anyone?

Yep, that's the one! When I played it last night at the store I just fell in love with it. It's got a great feeling neck, though I'm not used to 24 frets.
Guys, thanks for the pictures and support!
My interest in Ibanez guitars is really peaking. They are so much cooler than Gibsons and Fenders. Right now Ive got about 12 cool 80's and 90's Ibanez. 4 Satriani's, a JPM100, the 2 RGPR's, 2 US 550's, US 770, 2 US 470's, S Prestige, and an 82' 8 string Studio Bass.

Just curious, what do you mean by US RG550? Since they obviously are not made in the US.
