Need some S Classic ID help

Hey guys, trying to figure out which model this is:

Found another one here: http://halifax.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-s...AdIdZ177445998

I can't find anything in the US catalogs with a metallic purple finish and silver knobs though...so I'm guessing this wasn't available for the US. If anyone knows the model number for this one it'd help a lot thanks!

It's an SCA220 CB (Cosmic Blue). Not as cool as the 'real' SC models IMO.

SCA220. I think I usually see them for ~$250 here in the States.

By the way, they're MIJ so they're good quality. And the F6 pickups really match this guitar well for some reason. Maybe it's the shorter scale and the mahogany body.

Re: Need some S Classic ID help

If it's a cosmic blue, it's probably a 2003. The SCA is kinda like what the SA is for the original S flat back and thicker body, side mount jack, not the characteristic top routed volume and tone pots. No 'big' issues, but I really like the original design of the SC.

Re: Need some S Classic ID help

Oh so its a different body shape...what about quality-wise? Would an sc420 be worth...lets say...a bit more than 200$ more than an sca220?
