New 20+ year old guitar day

So yesterday i got a call from a friend who's moving to California, he said he's got a guitar he doesnt want anymore, do you want it? So 40 dollars later I came home with This Yamaha SE 350, not a terrible guitar, but i need to find new string locks downs as the old ones are stripped. The "Rockin magic pro II" trem seems interesting, I like the idea of not having to put ball ends in the tuners or cut them off.

You can get your parts directly from Yamaha, but they are pricey!!!!!!

Re: New 20+ year old guitar day

I think i'm gonna take this ones trem & replace the LFR in my superstrat mutt. The only problem i have with the Yamaha design bridge is Kahler style behind the nut lock. It's quite a bit heavier than the LFR, the block & base are one solid piece, the ball ends don't get cut off & there aren't any string blocks to lose. It also has a push-push pot that splits the bridge p-up.
