RG2720FM....I don't see that one posted anywhere. What's the difference between the 2720FM and the 2770FM? My guess is 2 humbuckers w/ no single coil for the 2720FM

Now it appears that there is going to be a Signature series Acoustic,,, euphoria7 acoustic! I guess the jemsite is giong to have to add a new category now! Man that guitar is hot!

There is a blurb about it on Vai's website!

Nice job on the new page Mikey!

The RG2720FM definitely exists (I have pictures of the VV one; which actually looks much more Antique Violin than VV). Either way, yes, the guitar is the same as the RG2770FM just no single coil in the middle.

In my country, the national Ibanez distributor has catalogs 2 years old. He always makes the older catalogs available to the public, last year catalogs available to shop owners, and this years catalogs available to himself. So I have the 2002 catalog, I just managed to get the small 2003 catalog, and maybe I'll check the 2004 models in 2005

where do you live, the US? Sounds like the practice
of alot of stores around the states. Too bad Japan gets
all the wild, colorful, groundbreaking guitars while we're
stuck with more drab, unexciting designs over here.
Why would Ibanez market those only in Japan yet not in
other countries? There's probably just as many {if not more..}
people here buying/importing their favorite Ibanez guitar from
Japanese sources than there are buyers of their overall guitar
line-up readily available domestically I would LOVE to see
the Ibanez Japan guitar line available for sale locally here!

Well, in the country I live the national distributor is actually a shop where asking for a particular model or colour is likely to receive a negative answer...

Sweet as it may seem, those Powersound pickups will not be any sweet at all till you throw them into the garbage bin.

japan

We won't see them made here because there's no show of demand for high caliber playing insturments like there was back in the 80s. Thanks to all th enu metal.

IMO...nu metal = thievery and lazyness. why?

1) Borrowed power-chord riffs that any 10 year old that has practiced for a few months can play
2) same-old-**** with no creativity

nothing wrong with straight-forward music with a good rhthym you can move to, but "nu-metal" brings down original metal, in my eyes.

Ibanez, I believe, is doing the right thing with releasing small bundles (15th anniversary JEM floral pattern) because of the demand.
