I love the look of the Teuffel Tesla. That's my kind of guitar. The only problem is that, although I've heard great things about Teuffel, I'd really have to go to mainland Europe to try one out. That's a shame, because I got a new job today, and I'm now actively looking for a new guitar. What a bummer...

You don't have to go to Europe to try one out I don't think. *I think if you prepay the cost of the guitar, he will ship you one, and you can evaluate it for week. *If you don't like it, you can get a full refund, sans shipping probably.

The Tesla is sweet...the only problem is that I wrap my thumb around sometimes for certain chords and to anchor bends. *That built-in wah wah wheel is awesome though. *I thought the Birdfish looked pretty cool too.

Hmm..very odd. *I'm not sure I'd play one, but hey, there's all types around here. *It's kinda like a flourescent yellow corvette, ya gotta have the personality to pull it off.

I like the A S S tremolo. *Bad interpretation? *Funny IMHO.

Some of the guitars remind me of the Kramer "vanguard" the one that looked like a Klingon warship. *

I think it's actually the Kramer Enterprize and Triax that you're thinking of - they look like nasty props from a cheap sci-fi TV show. I remember hearing that they were designed by Floyd Rose. I wonder when they'll be reissued.

Well the auerswald are really great looking..... a bit weird perhaps... something you have to be a very good player to go onstage with... I'd love to see one of them...

Leave it the Germans! *A bit far out for me, but I bet they're outstanding quality.

These are interesting guitars as well...

Cool site, too.

A local shop has a gray shark...plays and sounds great. *The aluminum board feels better than I expected.

Hands down for me would have to be the Teuffel Birdhouse. That looks like an engineering monstrosity if you really think about it. Just to own one of those would be cool.

The Birdfish gets my vote...the cased thing looks like an enraged submarine...lol.

In my opinion it's technological overkill though.
