New guitar advice, superstrat suggestions

Hey guys

I'm looking at purchasing a new guitar with a superstrat style body
Preferably with a floyd rose style floating bridge, I'm not too bothered
With the pickups it has as I'll probably replace them
Anyways.

I'm looking to spend no more than £550 so I'm aware
I'll probably have to buy used. So far I've looked at the ibanez rg 1570
And the older 550 and 570 models. Was wondering what other
Options I should consider And which would be my best choice.

Any help appreciated

Okay for that money you'd get a pretty nice Prestige model, lookout for an RG3120, RG3270 etc etc, RG550XX's are going for in around £500-£550 lately. There's been a few RG770's for sale recently too, great guitars. Maybe someone else on here will give you some non-Ibanez suggestions too.

For me, when I think super strat I think this:

Yeah.. I guess when I hear super strat I think Fender strat super charged. To me ibanez are in a different and better (to me) category. This Jackson might be more in the OPs price range new:

This is a new model and looks killer but not of the quality of the Charvel.

Jackson neck is also bigger than ibanez... I recommend rg550 if you looking for slim thin neck....if you have bigger hands than might try jackson

Im aiming more for a thinner neck so leaning
Towards the ibanez. Is there any quality
Difference between then new 1570 and the older
550s

Personally speaking I prefer the trems, pickups and necks (slightly thinner imo) on the older 550 models, late 80's-early 90's, plus they have a lot more mojo too.

Re: New guitar advice, superstrat suggestions

Rg550 is slightly thinner than rg1570....rg550 uses edge tremolo or lopro... Rg1570 uses edge pro....old 550 one piece maple neck and 1570 either 3 piece or 5 piece...but most of ibanez players prefer 80s and 90s ibanez because of the body wood and neck quality stronger and better tone than those jcraft and newer model

Well the 550s and 570s seem to be cheaper and more common, is the
Pick guard the only difference between the
