New guitar day - RG570 MHSOL (mahogany)

Just the ultimate beast. I promised myslef that I will never ever buy again RG/JEM/JCustom (you name it) made of basswood. So I just almost closed myself for Ibanez line.

But two days ago I found stuuning mahogany bodied RG. It has all the playability of Ibanez guitars and take no prisoners. What suprised me is how good stock pickups sound - these are QM (Dimarzios ?? ). They are lovely- previous owner have installed them upside down- don't know why. But it sounds stunning and very smooth so I will not tamper with that. It's 95' model and it was played heavily. But who gives a damn ? It has faded pickup rings, lo pro, tuners. But the tone is what counts to me. Just take a look.
New guitar days are just the best days of the year.

I'm asking myself the same question ;] Maybe it was made by luthier, but it fits perfectly - no problems with loose arm- always stays in position, and it's just better in the flutter technique from any JEM/RG/JPM/JCustom I had ! I think it may be due to the fact that this arm is heavier than stock Iby one.

That's gorgeous I've wanted them since 1995 when they were released

It looks in really good condition too, do you mind me asking how much you paid?

Beautiful. I would have jumped on it right away if I had seen one.

VERY nice. I love oiled mahogany.

I personally wouldn't have put gold hardware on it, but hey, I didn't build it.

Nice score!

For those of you looking for chrome trems, check these out: http://www.fretsonthenet.com/
These are made of stainless steel which is definately more durable than the stock ibby one. I have one with a brushed finish.
