Yea, emerald green is supposedly only a 93 color for 770s.
Mine's April 1991 based on serial though.
So either it's custom order emerald green or my laser blue has turned green. In person it's distinctly green... my phone camera makes it look blue though.
I thought it was laser blue, but it's much closer to emerald green. Been restoring its playability (got it really cheap with serious action issues after a broken neck and repair done in the 90s)
What do you think? Green or blue? If green then it's really rare for a RG770...
In real life it is greener than the pics turned out.
The binding has yellowed a lot with age and by whoever repaired the neck in the 90s and added finish over top of it (??!)
The action is getting pretty good now after a lot of work on my part.. a shim... removing nut shims and even filling down the neck nut floor.
Lots of edge adjustments, truss rod, saddles, shims more and less, started on some fret leveling... not crowning until better leveled though.... and roughly 2 to 2.5mm action 24th feet top to string bottoms.
These pickups are exceptional!

Original Edge in very good shape functionally
Missing the arm but I'm using edge 3 arm (loose in slot of course) just to work the trem and test things out until I can find an original edge arm with bushings, and new strings well stretched and it's sounding and playing great.
