New Ibanez RG1570, Edge Pro, etc.

Bought a new guitar today, a black Ibanez RG1570 Prestige. I'd love to try some new pickups instead of just evos. Not really a fan of PAF Pro as I am Breed, so maybe them? Dosent matter, I'm just glad to have this guitar! Can't wait to have some great times with it. Not sure how I feel about the edge pro with non locking studs, maybe some locking studs and a lo pro? In good time, I suppose.

Happy NGD!
I don't think the Lo-Pro will drop in without altering the rout for the trem, but I'm pretty sure Rich sells a modification so you can at least use the locking studs with the Pro.
My RG1550 has the Edge Pro and I have no noticeable tuning problems with it with the standard studs.
Doesn't 'flutter' very well, but it seems to stay in tune more than well enough.

I bought locking studs from Rich.
I made the inserts myself from setscrews I bought at the hardware store for $2 or less.

I always thought that the Edge Pro was the best trem Ibanez made.

Got and Edge Pro in my 2550E, got the locking studs from Rich, I have not had to retune it since I restrung it maybe 2 months ago, solid as a rock.

Thanks for all the responses! I always figured the edge pro was a little less quality for the lack of mass, but from what you guys said it sounds pretty reliable! I'm just so happy to finally have this guitar. Thanks!
