New Ibanez X-series Falchion

Saw this posted on another forum, and was surprised it wasn't posted here yet.

I believe its to be released this year.

I've been looking to get a wild-shaped guitar for sometime now. Its not pretty, but I have other guitars to fulfill that role. Even though its ugly as hell...I dig it! I want something crazy, and I've already seen too many people with a Xiphos. Apparently its crazy comfortable to play and sits well-balanced. Winner in my books.

That guitar is love <3 I'm a sucker for unique designs, and that one looks like a winner to me. I'm just curious about the pickups, it looks like it's rocking an X2N in the bridge...

Nothing! lol, I never tried it, but I heard it's a great pickup. I'm just curious, is all

But seriously, those 2 guitars look beastly.... are they 2011 models that didn't make a showing at NAMM, or are they exclusive to Japan, or something....?

That's a D-Activator X. Considering that's an LACS it had what he wanted stock.

Re: New Ibanez X-series Falchion

I love me my whacky shaped guitars. But Ibanez needs to start releasing them with a high level option.

There's what...4 Xiphos models in Canada now and no prestige?! Comeon! Metal heads want high quality guitars too!

Yeah, I'm guessing that's a Japanese dude so any prototype they play will automatically not be available anywhere else. Just like with ESP.

Link to info on new Ibanez X series guitars, ( if it copied correctly).

They aren't just prototypes or artist customs, but still uncertain wether they will make it to the States.
