New ideas on what a guitar can be

I've been getting in to cool ideas on what guitars can be. First, I'm in to fretless guitars, so I'm thinking of what all the extra possibilities can be here. I'd like to see what you guys can come up with. Here's some of my ideas:
-A 12 string guitar strung with half nylon strings and half steel strings, so there's one of each on each course. I think that'd create quite a beautiful sound.
-The same thing as above, but fretless.

What else can you guys come up with?

How about a guitar that's shaped like a guitar, but is actually a KEYBOARD......

EMG has a quick connect setup. i'd imagine you could rig something up on most pickups to work in the same way. try something like this...

A string through floyd rose that is easy to change strings, doesn't break strings faster, and is easier to set up.

And maintenance free guitars.

I had a Washburn about 20 years ago that had a licensed FR that was strung through, no cutting the ball off the string. It wasn't any easier to set up though.

Built in wireless transmitter, built in effects that can connected via firewire or USB with lots of users settings easily changed by multi-position pot (like Dano Mod-7 selector), a Floyd that doesn't use a locking nut, is stable, and has an arm that can be clicked to lock, making the bridge in essence fixed.
