Re: New J Custom JCRG13 Models

omg, those are amazing! thanks for posting Paul! the amber burst and black models are both exquisite...but I guess we would never see those outside of Japan. A J Custom is the one guitar that I sooooo want to add to my collection. I keep telling myself that I'm happy with my current collection - and then you post something like that to feed my desire to someday have a J Custom... ;o)

I've got it worse. Shimamura has one of the JCRG12s still hanging there... 5000 USD Sugi build. I think i have to change my pants every time I walk in there

Some of us prefer the EZ over the OE but I know the OE is very popular too so it would be nice if they offered both...

That WOULD be nice, but Hoshino isn't that nice to us

Those are beautiful. I really dig the square-heel. Definitely needs an Edge. How many other J's have a square heel? Wish I had the chops and funds to justify one.

I like the trans-red one. But for the price, they can sit on it neck first.

Beautiful but no AANJ is an interesting choice. Not sure I'd dig that.

Like the black one. Interesting pickup combo. I put the same in my j custom
recently and like them.

You have to remember that the execs at Hoshino love their new trem! To them it's the 'right' decision...

Re: New J Custom JCRG13 Models

You have to admit that it's a very clever design that integrates a stabilizer into the package, with a super easy thumbwheel adjust. It's the ultimate lazy mans system, far easier to tune, far easier to adjust. Even as a floater, still easier to tweak than a screwdriver adjust. The superior torque adjust on the bar make it a really viable alternative to all the FR bridges. Superb accurate return. I have my little gripes but I have little gripes about everything
