I'm sold out.

It's pretty odd hammering octaves, but you really need fingernails for any articulation.

Laid up in the Batcave, under Alfreds care. Batcomputer is in need of maintenance--it's search feature was taken out by the Joker virus. The last time I tangled with Bane--he broke my back......

Wow that's cool. 30 frets. He's a good player too.

Re: New Monster--Japanese Market!

Yeah I've been trying NOT to buy this since it came out, luckily for me Rich sold out a while back.
I wanted it more for the clearance more than anything when playing round the 24th.
Seriously though, this should be released with a 27inch scale in 6/7/8 string versions being as mostly metal guys will want it and the extra scale length would make those higher frets even more usable.

The 7 string custom above looks killer.

Re: New Monster--Japanese Market!

I am still iffy on the extra cutout.....doesnt looked quite baked in yet however im still a big fan....

A prestige production model in a 6 and 7 like the RGD might be nice but it is a very specific buyer and 27-30 fret guitars dont attract a lot of people......

I would buy it though, it is very metal.......lol.....

Re: New Monster--Japanese Market!

Great for tapped harmonics and as a guideline for your thimble. You do play with a thimble, right?

Re: New Monster--Japanese Market!

I have one of those babies coming in October.
Very cool guitar, something I have been dreaming about for a long time (to the level that I have built an extension fretbord for one RG).

Getting higher are cool, lower are for people with a beard and short pants :-)

I hope it lives up to expectations, pretty sure it will.
