New old Carvins

Carvin is re-releasing two of their pointy guitars, the Ultra V and the V220!

And this year's NAMM just keeps getting better and better

Re: New old Carvins

If they do either in a 7 this may get a little to tempting.

Re: New old Carvins

If they just offer these two with all the options they give everything else, I'll be just fine with one of these and my 727

Love the V, but wouldn't it be impossible to really sit with?

Re: New old Carvins

We're back in 80's when neon colors and pointy guitars were common and men dressing like transsexuals! It's great!!

You know something is afoot when the crusty-old Republicans that run and own Carvin are bringing back the pointys!

Pretty awesome.

Re: New old Carvins

Cool! I've always associated the V220 with Marty Friedman in the Cacophony days. My magazine has a good relationship with Carvin so hopefully I'll get to borrow one for a few weeks to review.

Re: New old Carvins

AWESOME! I've always been a big fan of the V220. I've actually got one that we're going to a Gibson bridge and bubinga top to get rid of the Kahler... well, if it ever gets worked on - I'm looking in your direction, Franky...

I remember the time when that V220 was all over MTV. It was in Starship videos and things, oh great memories.

Re: New old Carvins

I didn't see them anywhere, but it would be cool if you can get all the same options as the rest of the Carvins - I'm kind of assuming you could, but you never know.
