New PGM model??

Paul posted this in the Artistworks shoutbox today..

PaulGilbert
I shot some promo videos for upcoming new PGM and FRM Ibanez guitars yesterday.

Also, Pauls wife gave birth a few days ago to a baby boy.

I got to play a FRM250 at the local Guitar Center and its a beast. Feels good to a guy who mainly plays Explorers

Re: New PGM model??

He was playing a nice PGM in the latest Dimarzio vid for the new Paf Master pickups. It was a 25-fret one that looked like a PGM800. (Wasn't a PGM10th) Might've been that. Not sure if that's one of his old guitars or not.

Re: New PGM model??

yeah, I asked him about the 25th fret and he said Ibanez added that on for him so he could play a certain classical piece. I have heard others say they think its gonna be one like his 800 also.

Re: New PGM model??

The PGM in the DiMarzio vid is a 1995 model apparently (as mentioned in the credits bit at the end). Nice to see the PGM series back in action - love those guitars. Ibanez could do with a few more RG models with the volume pot out of the way! Thanks for the news, G!

Very very very yes.
I always ditch my tone pots and move the volume down to the middle hole.
The way I rest my hand means the stock position gets in the way.
