New rg350 going out of tune HELP!

I bought a rg350dx 3 weeks ago, i made the set up myself from what i learned from here and from the instruction rich gave us at ibanez rulez, and i could rape the **** out of it when it had the factory strings and it would stay in tune, then i changed strings it was somehow worse it was going out of tune every hour or so and that if i wasnt abusing the tremolo. i changed again strings before 3 days and it was still the same. Yesterday i adjusted the action and the neck relief played for about half an hour after i did it and it was like before but today it goes out of tune every 10 minutes without doing anythink from yesterday and when i dive all the strigs are about 30-50 cents flat and when i pull the bridge up all string go about the same sharp. The guitar has the edze zero II and the string are 3 days old elixir 9-42 if there is something else you need to know so you can help me ask me i dont have money for a new bridge or a new guitar so i have to make this one playable again...

Don't over do tighten them, ive seen many people destroy the thread in the nut due to over tightening, just nip them in place but make sure not to crush the strings.

Loose nut screws(back of the neck) will cause the guitar to go out of tune. Also good advice above-if nutpads is tighten to much they will eventually loose the ability to hold the string. And then the guitar will go out of tune.

Re: New rg350 going out of tune HELP!

the rg350 i have doesnt have any screws on the back of the neck it has it inside the nut and the are as tight as they came from the factory i checked them they were tight enough and even if this was the problem i dont think it would make all the string go flat when i dive and sharp when i pull up

Ensure that the knife edges are at a right angle to the studs and adjust the springs oh so slightly.

Maybe lube the knife edges if they weren't already. I'm running out of ideas now.

Re: New rg350 going out of tune HELP!

Look at the instructions. You don't need to take the strings off to lube the knife edges.
